      Tea tree Oil

No other essential oil is as effective as melaleuca oil (tea tree oil). It brings instant relief for countless minor skin irritations, carries its healing benefits far below the surface of the skin, soothes while it heals, and has a fresh pleasing scent. We stock two grades of oil, T36-C5 and T40-C3.

The "T" represents Terpinen, one of the most desirable compounds in melaleuca oil. The "C" represents Cineole, which helps the oil penetrate, but high levels can reduce the amountof other beneficial compounds and may irritate sensitive skin.

The International Standards Organisation has determined that oil of Melaleuca Alternifolia must contain more than 30% Terpinen and less than 15% Cineole.

Our standards are even higher with 36% Terpinen and 5% Cineole in itsT36-C5, and 40% Terpinen and less than 3% in its T40-C3 bottles.
